Is the "accepted teams"- list also the list for the numbers the teams get for this season?
Or is it going to be as last year, where the top 10 get the number of the final result from previous season?

I never participated (and I think I won´t due to my missing skills and interest), but I always liked to see the ideas.
Moreover I might have an idea.
How about adding a "category" for newcomers? Let´s say, everyone who took part in less than 15 competitions.
I think, there are at least a few who would like to take part but don´t see any chance of winning.
So, you have the chance to improve your skills before having to compete against the pro´s.
I hope, you understand what I want to tell.
Just an idea.
Hi.
Yesterday, I tried a few of the new combos.
I have to admit, I didn´t have that much fun with LFS quite for a long time now...
But something about the "results" of that test-session:
First, I tried BL1x_B11.
Although I love chikanes and there is not much difference to the original BL1-track, this is a great track. I drove it with BF1 and FXR. Since there is not much difference to the well known BL1, it´s no surprise, that there were no problems with driving that track.
Another track was FE1y_F12
When I saw this track (in this thread), I knew that I have to drive it, because it looked like highpeed on FE. My test car here was the FO8. As I imagined, this track is really really great to drive. But unfortunately, this track is nothing for leagues, because after 3 laps (or sometimes less...), there is a damage of 100% at the rear suspension... My team mates also tried FXR, LX6 and BF1. -> It´s always the same. Only the UF1 was able to drive more than one fast lap.
I really hope that there will be some improvement for that new straight, soon.
AS1y_A13
Again, we started with the FO8. It´s quite a great track for that car. A lot of full throttle and smooth corners. But still challenging.
But when we moved over to GTR´s (we had all GTR´s), this track was surprisingly hard to manage. I don´t know why, but I (in XRR) was not able to find any decent settings for that track...
Completely the opposite was this track: (AS1x_AS10)
We also tested that track with GTR´s (XRR and FXR).
It was really great to drive there. Although the way out of the pits and the entrancce (which i never tested) are quite bad (still the solution is pretty well), this configuration could be nice for leagues or at least public racing...
In my opinion, this track should get into "track-pack".
BTW: I think, at least 1:42 is possible.
@Phil:
There is some mistake in your post about the Aston-tracks.
e.g.:
I guess it´s both.
Look how many teams signed in and didn´t take part in the end.
I know that there are always a lot of those teams. But if you see the names of that teams from last year...
ironically, everyone wants to drive something different to the mostly driven as-tracks (or ky3/r)
but as soon as it comes to another track (see last year's fe4r-race), the number of participants is ridiculously low...
Mhm, I would be sad about a major concept change in IGTC.
I really enjoyed last season. (May be because it was the first season I took part in one of the "big leagues")
- 4 hours were a pretty good distance I think. Not too long but nor too short.
(90 min racing with driver swap... don´t know; although it could be really interesting with the pit stops...)
- It definitively should stay single class. (best, if GT1)
- Qualy session at another day sounds nice. That´s an idea I already had.
Although it doesn´t change anything at the positions, but why do we (#27 Error Racing; P7) have 26 instead of 28 points in final round?
finished 16, which is 2x 14 = 28.
Nevertheless, great season with great races.
I never thought that we would finish season on P7 with the FXR.
Include the following in your protest
• The correct lap: 87 (88)
• The cars (/teams) involved #27 & #36
• The lap/sector/time ~3h34min race time, 1st sector, eau rouge.
• And a short description from your point of view.
- #36 tries to overtake in eau rouge; contact, we (#27) lost position.
- 1 lap after that, #36 tries to overtake on the outline at exit of turn 1, comes on grass and hits our side to overtake us.
